Well, I can say with certainty that we are thoroughly sick of being sick. Rich caught this season's CRUD the Friday following Christmas and passed it along to me a week ago Wednesday. It's nasty stuff and really puts a damper on vacation. Today, I am finally starting to feel somewhat normal although my nose is still a war zone. Rich seems to have finally slogged his way through it so I expect that I'll be fine by the middle of next week. Josh, bless his healthy little heart, seems to have dodged the bullet this time around which is good since he'll be getting on a plane in another week.
The upside to being sick, if you're looking for one, is that lying about watching movies can be pretty entertaining when it takes all your reserves of energy just to crawl to the bathroom once every 3 or 4 hours. Thankfully, we signed up for Netflix over the holidays so a steady stream of entertainment is at our fingertips whenever we want it. If you aren't sure what it's all about, zip on over to their website (the link is in our list at left) and check it out. They've got OODLES of movies, TV shows etc to choose from, and many can be downloaded right to your computer. Rich figured out how to hook up his laptop to the tv so we can "project" on the bigger screen, which eliminated the need for extra equipment. Otherwise, for the movies we want that aren't included in the Instant View list, we just request the DVD. It's pretty darn cool and has the potential to save us a bundle on movie rentals! Anyway, there's my commercial for the day...
