Well, Jack Frost managed to find his way home this week. I admit we really have no room for complaint considering Fall really hung around for a long time and November was snow free. However, for all those people who can't seem to get their act together to drive in it, I wish you would just get off the road. Consider public transportation if you are so skittish about driving in the snow. Seriously. You live here don't you? Are you really surprised that we get snow every year? Okay, I'm done ranting now.
Josh, who is now working at PacSun is finding out what the retail world is like during the holidays from the other side of the cash register. The benefits to this are that he has a much better appreciation for what the workers put up with from crabby shoppers, and he's also finally able to bring home enough money to make a car payment to the bank of Mom/Dad.
Christmas is fast approaching of course, and I'm trying to get in the spirit. Really I am. Other than the tree, I've only put out a few other decorations but I suppose I'll tackle the rest this weekend. At some point I'll head up to Fargo to get Mom for Christmas here with us but I'm waiting to hear from her as to when she wants me to come and get her. At any rate, we're looking forward to having her here for a few days. I have the week of Christmas off (Glory Halleluiah) so we should be able to pack in a serious mountain of jigsaw puzzles in that amount of time!
Well, I need to get a load of laundry done before I collapse in bed so I better quit for now.
Hope all is well with you and yours!
Catch you later!
