Witness the weary homeowner...After three days of working out in the hot sun in 90 degree weather, because of course the home repairs had to be on the South side of the house, I think Rich has just about reached his limit. Can't say as I blame him. I think he's sweated off about 10 pounds climbing up and down ladders, hammering and staining. He replaced the fascia board on the back side of the house and put a coat of sealer on the deck. The deck sealing isn't completely done yet- we still have some touch up on the deck itself plus the rails and the pergola to do but I offered to help with those. The point was to get it back to where we could use it this weekend.
We're going to have a full house as it turns out. Rich's parent's will be here tomorrow night and Mom is coming on Saturday so Josh and I have been working on getting the house cleaned up while Rich tackled all the outdoor tasks. With the heat and humidity being what it is I think Josh and I had the better end of the deal! In any case, the house is clean, the laundry is almost all done, and tomorrow we'll take care of the Mother Hubbard's cupboard problem.
