Well, today started off fairly normal, but Josh forgot his art portfolio at home and needed it for 3rd hour and we're projected to get hit with more of that white CRUD that seems to be the constant norm around here so rather than drive to and from work, home, school, work and home I bundled up some transportable projects (not all that easy when you work in a Mac world and live in the PC world), and came home. I'm currently taking a break from the delights of script writing but will have to get back at it pretty quick here. The upside to all this is, of course, while the masses are fighting sleet and snow later today - if it turns to that, I'm already home with the cats and dog for company. Two of the three are curled up right nearby and one is "sunbathing" under the desk lamp. It's a tough life. At least she's not walking all over the keyboard. I'm also getting a few loads of laundry don, dinner is defrosting, and with any luck at all I'll finish everything so I am that much farther ahead tomorrow.
For those who might be following our latest home improvement saga- this past weekend Rich and I went shopping for tubs, showers etc to replace the current problem children. We've pretty much decided to just rip it all out (minus the toilet and sink) and start over. We know we have water damage on both the wall and the floor and we don't want to contend with mold issues so we're going to bite the bullet and just do it right. This means manual labor of course, but I hope it won't be too bad. I think we're going to do all the demolition ourselves and then hire someone to install the tub and shower. I'll do the tile too now that I more or less know what I am doing thanks to Nathaniel's guidance with the downstairs bath. Anyway, with any luck we'll have a new bathroom sometime in April.
Well, I better get back to my script. On the clock you know...
