Well, lo and behold, I finished painting the front door finally and am pretty pleased with the result. The rest of the house thinks my choice if color is questionable, and even those who get that red is my favorite color are shaking their heads at what I have done. I'm pretty much ignoring the nay-sayers though and am enjoying the fruits of my labor. Besides with the holidays right around the corner it's going to look great - especially when I swap out the Fall foliage for some holly and berries. At any rate, it's done and I managed to finish it in under 6 months! Ha!
For those of you who happen to agree with my choice, the color is Cherry Cobbler (Behr) and I bought it at Home Depot. How can you go wrong with a name like that?
